If you haven't noticed lately, the Olympics have started and I haven't kept my eyes off of it. I've been watching it all afternoon, at primetime, and catching some finals and 12:30am.
I have never saw, anywhere else in my life, how much pressure these athletes have on their shoulders. All of these athletes. They all practiced for hours, months, years. It's crazy. And then they go to the olympics, and you don't win. They don't even get a medal. I feel bad that I complain about not making friends on a simple Freshman volleyball team. Btw, men's beach volleyball is AWESOME!!!
I thought I might kick it up a notch. If they can do it in Athens, why can't I? If I practice hard enough, and come to enough practices, on time and all, maybe I'll make varisty my Junior Year. And then with Soccer, I'm going to try my hardest to get varsity. Doubt it, but I know it'd make my dad happy. He got Varisty when he was a freshman. =D And then my mom got Varisty in volleyball.
I would like to play in Beijien 2008 Olympics, but I'm taking the darn roadtrip after High School =). Maybe, I'll just go see the games.
Laterz!
Lauren~
